SEO ranking factors for 2020, and what should you be aware of?

SEO ranking factor 2020 is the user experience (UX), everything else comes next

So what is the user experience?

It is everything makes the user experience better such as:

  • The value of your content, how deep it is covering the exact user search query
  • How fast the page is loaded
  • How easy it is to use your website
  • Is your content pleasant and useful

SEO ranking factor 2020 and User Experience

in 2019, it is all about User Experience, Google listens to the customers, not to anyone else, they do that by:

  • Check the average time spent reading your article.
  • Check how many pages the visitor will visit on your website after they read your article before they leave
  • Check how many visitors leave your website from. the first page, they call it “Bounce Rate”
  • Also, they check how many times your article was shared on social media and other locations
  • And some other thing Google does that I am not aware

SEO ranking factor 2020 between Google and the Real Estate Auction

A while ago, a friend of mine who is a real estate agent told me a story, he was selling a house in Auckland New Zealand, and as you may know, the process of selling a house is that the agent will have few people interested in buying a house and have talked to them before the bidding day. They should have done at least one visit to that house during the open home time, to know all the ins and outs about the house they are planning to buy and to set a price limit where they stop bidding

At the day of bidding, they were eleven bidders for a four-bedroom house, somewhere in the north shore Auckland. When the bid was about to close, an old lady came in and starts to bid, she was biding over anyone else no matter what the price was reaching. My friend (The Real Estate Agent) was so surprised, he didn’t see that lady before and he knows for sure she didn’t do her due diligence. In the end, she won the bid and she bought the house for a higher price the house estimated price.

He went to her and asked her, how on earth you did that, you’ve never assessed the house before buying it? how did you take that risk?.

She replied, what risk are you talking about?, they were eleven people bidding before me, I am sure they have done their homework.

you might ask, what does this has to do with SEO, and you are right, cos I don’t know either, just kidding. Believe it or not, in 2019, Google is doing the exact same thing that lady did. They ask the audience their opinion about an article they read “what do you think about that article?”, and if they say “I like it”, Google ranks it high in Google search engine, the more people say the same thing about your article, the more Google believes in that vote, and if you want to know the number one priority for Google in 2019, it is the “User Experience”, as simple as that (Period)

So how does Google do that?

Google is getting smarter every day, and please take my word on that and don’t ever try to outsmart Google. You might succeed for a while, but not for long, they will find out and punish you sooner or later.

Google will not talk to the audience face to face, she has these cute robots she develops every now and then, you may hear about Panda, Penguin, Pigeon, Hummingbird, and maybe some others robots, and some other will be born in the future. Each one of these robots has her own specific duty, and they report back to the big boss Google, to tell her what they found out about people trying to appear something and they are not, and what people are saying about this guy and that article, and who deserves to be ranked high on Google search and who is not, and Google trusts them so much, believe me on that.

What they do basically, they will see who make the effort to write something valuable to the reader, something fulfills the audience need, what they are exactly looking for and look after them by making the article fun and easy to understand. Google named it (UX) user experience.
